Part Sales Engineer – Spare Parts & Logistics

About the role

As a Part Sales Engineer Services you will be the main point of contact for customers across Africa for spare parts, logistics and day‑to‑day service support. You will manage the full parts sales process from understanding customer needs and preparing offers to coordinating orders, suppliers and deliveries, working closely with the Account Manager, Sales Manager and colleagues in South Africa, West‑Africa and the Netherlands.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively approach potential clients and inform them about delivery possibilities of specific components.
• Take responsibility for proactive sales of spare parts within the assigned region.
• After a successful sale, coordinate with the supply chain on procurement and logistics.
• Maintain contact with both clients and suppliers regarding delivery times and prices.
• Perform accurate administrative work, such as building a dossier for each sales order and tracking multiple orders simultaneously.
• Cooperate with colleagues to strive for better results every day.

Required profile

• National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or equivalent vocational qualification in a technical or commercial discipline.
• Experience in a technical sales role, preferably within a Service Department.
• Good command of English.
• Currently residing in South Africa, preferably Cape Town.
• Strong communication skills and a commercial, result‑oriented attitude.
