About the role

The practice is a well‑established, up‑market optometry clinic in Sea Point, Cape Town. They are looking for a qualified Optometrist with at least five years of experience to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred eye care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests for a diverse clientele.
• Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, prescribing treatments or arranging referrals as needed.
• Advise patients on eyewear, lens options and contact lenses, ensuring optimal visual outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date patient records in line with clinical standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
• Stay informed about the latest developments and technologies in optometry.

Required profile

• Optometry degree and current HPCSA registration.
• Minimum five years of clinical experience in a similar setting.
• Strong diagnostic abilities and a passion for improving visual health.
• Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English.
• Proactive, self‑motivated attitude with a desire to contribute to practice growth.
• Valid driver’s licence.

What we offer

• Competitive salary of R55 000 per month.
