Operator – Slicing Production Line

About the role

The Slicing Operator is responsible for keeping the production line running smoothly and continuously, following established standard operating procedures. This role ensures that output meets capacity targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain optimal capacity utilisation of the slicing line.
• Apply safe working practices and uphold housekeeping standards.
• Follow and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Participate in Invocoms and other operational meetings.
• Monitor equipment performance and report any issues promptly.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
• Related production experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Good communication skills and the capacity to work under pressure.
• Self‑motivated with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
• Attention to detail, numerical ability, and a focus on continuous improvement.
