Oncology Brand & Customer Manager – South Africa & Sub‑Saharan Africa

About the role

We are a leading research‑intensive biopharmaceutical company focused on innovative health solutions. As an Oncology Brand & Customer Manager you will shape brand strategy, drive launch excellence and deliver customer‑centric initiatives across South Africa and the Sub‑Saharan region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead formulation, execution and continuous optimisation of brand strategies for the oncology portfolio.
• Drive brand growth, market preparation and launch excellence for new product introductions.
• Align brand plans with global and regional marketing strategies and customise materials for local relevance.
• Forecast performance, monitor metrics and adjust strategies based on market insights.
• Manage promotional and brand‑related budgets to maximise ROI.
• Analyse local and regional oncology markets to identify commercial opportunities and risks.
• Lead cross‑functional teams including Sales, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Communications and others.
• Develop and deliver innovative, customer‑centric programmes and digital‑first engagement models.

Required profile

• Relevant commercial or health sciences degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of the South African pharmaceutical market and regulatory landscape.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking, initiative and problem‑solving ability.
