Onboarding Coordinator – ABA Therapy (Remote, EST Hours)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Onboarding Coordinator to join a fast‑growing US‑based ABA therapy company. Working remotely from South Africa, you will be the first point of contact for newly hired ABA therapists, guiding them through every step of the onboarding journey and ensuring a smooth, timely start.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct onboarding meetings via Zoom or Microsoft Teams with new therapists.
• Guide candidates through each onboarding stage, tracking progress and identifying pending tasks.
• Follow up consistently to keep candidates on schedule and update their status on a shared board.
• Accurately record and track tasks in the company’s systems, including ClickUp.
• Flag disengaged candidates and apply the appropriate escalation protocols.
• Coordinate with the staffing team when candidates reach the placement stage.
• Manage approximately 30 onboarding cases per month per state, with team support during peak periods.

Required profile

• Previous experience in onboarding, recruitment coordination, or HR administration.
• Familiarity with ClickUp, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar collaboration platforms (advantageous).
• Knowledge of the ABA therapy space or a background in healthcare, disability, or mental health services is a plus.
• Strong organisational abilities and a task‑oriented work style.
• Excellent follow‑up and communication skills.
