Network Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Network Administrator to support a stable and well‑maintained platform for our critical network infrastructure in the online gaming sector. You will work closely with Infrastructure, Infosec, DevOps and development teams to ensure optimal performance and security of our network services.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and optimise all network hardware and software.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide network assistance and guidance.
• Proactively improve infrastructure to reduce operational costs and complexity.
• Perform regular maintenance, logging and backup of network equipment and configurations.
• Implement and monitor effective alerts, notifications and standby procedures, including PagerDuty rotation.
• Follow incident management processes for 24 × 7 production issues.
• Monitor key performance metrics such as utilisation, latency, packet loss and jitter across LAN and WAN.
• Support cloud network deployments and ensure best‑practice configurations.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of LAN and WAN networking concepts.
• Experience working in a 24 × 7 operational environment with on‑call rotation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Infrastructure, Security, DevOps and development teams.
• Attention to detail for logging, backup and incident escalation.

Required skills

• Network hardware configuration (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Network software and monitoring tools.
• PagerDuty or similar incident‑management platform.
• Cloud networking fundamentals.
• Backup and recovery procedures for network devices.
