Marketing Officer – Training Provider

About the role

The training provider in Johannesburg is looking for a creative and detail‑oriented Marketing Officer to support its growing marketing team. This position offers practical exposure across digital marketing, branding, content creation, campaigns and events, helping to promote the organisation’s compliance and financial services training products.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, print and social media channels.
• Provide general administrative support for marketing projects, including database maintenance and coordination of activities.
• Help maintain brand consistency by updating branded content, learner materials and communications.
• Create and schedule social media posts, basic graphics and written copy, and support email marketing initiatives.
• Monitor basic performance metrics, compile reports on engagement and campaign results.
• Collaborate with Sales, Academics and IT departments to gather information for marketing initiatives.
• Conduct market research on trends, competitors and customer preferences to inform campaigns.
• Support the planning, coordination and on‑site execution of events, and gather post‑event feedback.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing or a related field.
• 1–2 years of hands‑on marketing experience, preferably in a training or services environment.
