Marketing Manager – Food & Culture Market

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager to lead all marketing initiatives for Time Out Market in Cape Town. The role will drive brand presence, increase footfall, and create exciting experiences for visitors and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies that align with business objectives and boost visitor traffic and loyalty.
• Manage public relations activities, including press releases and relationships with media, influencers, and industry leaders.
• Oversee social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and create engaging content for target audiences.
• Plan and coordinate entertainment and events that enhance the market’s vibrant atmosphere.
• Run digital campaigns across SEO, SEM, paid media, social media, email automation, and partnerships, optimizing for bookings and loyalty program engagement.
• Maintain strong relationships with concessionaires, supporting their promotional activities and ensuring brand alignment.
• Ensure all marketing materials follow brand guidelines and collaborate with the CRM team to improve engagement and retention.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance using defined KPIs, and use data to refine future initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, PR, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in marketing management.
• Passion for food, culture, and creating memorable visitor experiences.
