Marketing Intern – Luxury Cosmetics Brand

About the role

The role supports the Marketing Manager and Brand Team to grow the luxury cosmetics brand in South Africa. It involves adapting international strategies to the local market, managing brand equity, and driving market share through coordinated 360° marketing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support brand strategy development and act as custodian of the brand image.
• Adapt global strategies for the South African market while complying with international brand guidelines.
• Prepare and present brand strategies to retailers during seasonal sessions.
• Monitor business performance, inventory levels, and sales data to identify challenges and opportunities.
• Manage new product launches, including stock tracking, retailer order coordination, and post‑launch reporting.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximise brand exposure.

Required profile

• Ability to take decisions, initiate action and assume responsibility.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and influencing.
• Planning, organising and delivering results under pressure.
