Marketing Intern

About the role

Rich Products Corporation is seeking a Marketing Intern to support new product development across multiple channels and categories. The role will provide administrative and project‑management assistance to the NPD team while gaining exposure to cross‑functional collaboration in a global food company.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing ongoing new product development projects and maintain timelines using project‑management platforms.
• Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and report risks to milestones.
• Provide administrative support such as scheduling meetings, handling new product code requests, and controlling documentation (Product Initiation Forms, Sample Initiation Forms, Authority to Launch).
• Prepare presentations, track NPD performance, and document project feasibility.
• Take minutes, manage sample request processes, and support market research on trends and consumer behaviour.
• Help plan and execute events, trade shows, and customer visits, gathering competitor information.
• Collaborate with R&D, Procurement, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and QA teams to ensure project support.
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions and training opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma, preferably in marketing or a related project‑management field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative thinking, problem‑solving abilities and strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to take on new challenges.
