Marketing & Events Coordinator

About the role

The Marketing & Events Coordinator will join a leading pet‑care retail brand’s marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will support day‑to‑day marketing operations, coordinate national promotions, and manage regional fundraising and brand events.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general marketing administration, including sourcing collateral and liaising with suppliers.
• Manage the end‑to‑end process for national product promotions, from design input to store communication.
• Plan, obtain approvals, and execute three regional fundraising events and additional medium‑to‑large events such as dog walks and charity visits.
• Oversee the regional and national event calendar, ensuring standards, branding, and timelines are met.
• Coordinate internal communications across departments and with external stakeholders.
• Track all marketing activities, resolve issues, and support the Junior Marketing Assistant.

Required profile

• Strong planning, coordination and project‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple tasks.
• Detail‑oriented with a high level of organization.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners.
