Logistics & Warehouse Manager – Plastic Industry

About the role

The Logistics and Warehouse Manager ensures efficient inbound and outbound flows of goods for a plastic manufacturing operation, meeting client expectations while adhering to company standards and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process customer sales orders, negotiate delivery schedules, and keep customers informed of production status.
• Plan production programmes with the Production Manager, calculate material needs and place orders for raw materials, packaging, etc.
• Coordinate deliveries, transfers, and export/import documentation for finished products, spare parts and samples.
• Supervise warehouse operations, manage staff, and maintain order, cleanliness and HSE standards.
• Support procurement by sourcing suppliers, collecting quotes, negotiating prices and issuing purchase orders.
• Identify and lead logistics improvement projects to eliminate bottlenecks across the supply chain.
• Plan and execute periodic inventories and manage waste‑disposal processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of logistics experience in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated accountability, analytical problem‑solving (Jugaad), resilience under pressure and strong teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of end‑to‑end supply‑chain processes.
• Applied knowledge of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) standards.
• Familiarity with plastic molding technologies (EBM, SBM, IM).
• Strong understanding of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) regulations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
