Logistics Manager: Bottling

About the role

Boland Cellar is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead its bottling operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will ensure that bottling processes align with production schedules, packaging availability and regulatory requirements, supporting both local and international wine distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule bottling activities based on lead times for packaging materials and wine preparation.
• Manage the bottling service provider relationship and coordinate with dry‑goods suppliers.
• Oversee ordering, technical specification compliance, stock control and quality control of packaging materials.
• Act as liaison between clients and the bottling service provider, handling rework processes and trademark registrations.
• Maintain minimum stock levels and ensure label compliance with regulatory standards.
• Administer bar‑codes and packing specifications.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or degree in Logistics.
• At least three years of supply‑chain or logistics experience within the wine industry.
• Mandatory experience with WineMS.
• Strong planning, organisational and numerical abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
