About the role

The Ram Couriers Learnership Program provides a structured learning experience for individuals seeking hands‑on exposure in courier operations. Participants will be trained in logistics, distribution, customer service and administrative tasks while working alongside experienced professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and sorting of packages and parcels for distribution.
• Learn and apply safe and efficient delivery techniques, adhering to company standards and regulations.
• Accompany experienced couriers on delivery routes to learn route planning, navigation, and customer interaction.
• Develop an understanding of tracking systems and utilize them to monitor and update delivery status.
• Provide excellent customer service by delivering packages on time and addressing customer inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, receipts, and proof of delivery.
• Learn and comply with company policies, safety protocols and confidentiality requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise delivery processes and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in courier operations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager in line with the learnership program.

Required profile

• Minimum educational requirement: Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer and team interaction.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with office software applications.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing work environments and demands.
• A valid driver's license (Code B) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a supportive work culture.
• Demonstrated punctuality, reliability and a strong work ethic.
