Lead Generation Specialist – Travel & Tourism

About the role
This role focuses on outbound lead generation within the travel and tourism sector. You will identify, engage, and qualify new business opportunities for PayGenius, supporting the business development and sales teams.
Key responsibilities
- Drive outbound lead generation across hotels, lodges, travel agencies, tour operators, OTAs, activity providers and e‑commerce stores.
- Conduct cold email, LinkedIn, phone and digital outreach to potential merchants.
- Research and build targeted prospect lists, qualifying leads based on fit, payment potential and onboarding readiness.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure smooth handover of qualified opportunities to sales.
- Continuously refine outreach strategies based on response rates and market feedback.
Required profile
- 2–4 years of experience in lead generation, sales development or outbound prospecting.
- Proven ability to execute cold outreach campaigns via email, LinkedIn and phone.
- Strong research skills and comfort engaging senior decision‑makers.
- Excellent written communication, especially for cold email outreach.
- Highly self‑driven, structured and results‑oriented in a fast‑paced environment.
- Fluent English.
Required skills
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Zoho or HubSpot.
- Familiarity with outbound prospecting tools (Apollo, Lusha, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Ability to craft and send cold email outreach.
