Junior Software Developer

About the role

Our client is seeking a motivated Junior Software Developer to join a growing development team in Faerie Glen, Pretoria. You will work on both front‑end and back‑end projects, gaining hands‑on experience with modern technologies while contributing to scalable, data‑driven applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend services and APIs using C# and the .NET platform.
• Build responsive front‑end interfaces with React and Next.js.
• Contribute to Python‑based components for API integration or scripting tasks.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following OOP and modular design principles.
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and collaborative problem‑solving.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, Computer Science or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of practical experience developing applications.
• Proficiency in Afrikaans and English.
• Own transport and a valid driver’s licence.
• Strong desire to learn and grow within an agile environment.
