Program Team Leader – Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a Program Team Leader – Solutions to oversee the delivery, governance, and operational oversight of critical software development and solutions environments for a leading technology‑driven business in Durban.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee design, development, testing, deployment and support of applications and solutions, ensuring alignment with timelines, scope and quality standards.
• Maintain visibility of delivery progress, risks, dependencies and blockers, and coordinate application enhancements and optimisation initiatives.
• Define and enforce development standards and architectural principles, review technical designs and provide guidance on complex solutions and integrations.
• Lead, mentor and manage software development and technical delivery teams, conduct performance management and ensure effective workload balancing.
• Oversee system integrations, define API and integration standards, and ensure stability and interoperability across internal and third‑party platforms.
• Lead remediation stand‑ups, track actions and manage incident resolution to maintain operational stability.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading software delivery teams in fast‑paced, SLA‑driven environments.
• Strong technical leadership with ability to define standards, review designs and guide complex integrations.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills to ensure customer confidence.
• Demonstrated ability to manage resources, performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
