Junior Graphic Designer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join a fast‑moving printing team in Sandton. The role offers hands‑on experience creating print‑ready assets while collaborating with senior designers, project managers, and print technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing brochures, flyers, packaging, and promotional materials that follow client brand guidelines.
• Prepare and format artwork for print production, ensuring files are accurate and meet technical specifications.
• Coordinate with senior designers and project managers to understand project scopes and delivery timelines.
• Work closely with print technicians to verify artwork quality and make necessary revisions based on feedback.
• Maintain organized libraries of design templates, assets, and final files for efficient workflow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts or a related discipline (advantageous).
• Strong visual, typographic and layout sense with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with clients and internal teams.
• Portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical ability, and print design experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
• Basic understanding of printing processes and print production requirements.
