Junior Data Analyst

About the role

Our client, a leading quick‑service restaurant group, is looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Data Analyst to support business and operational decision‑making. You will work with data from multiple sources, including the MICROS POS system, to clean, analyse and report on key performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and consolidate data from various sources, especially MICROS POS.
• Clean, validate and prepare datasets for analysis.
• Identify trends, patterns and insights to support operational decisions.
• Develop and automate data collection methods and reporting routines.
• Assist in designing and maintaining databases and data systems.
• Detect and resolve data errors, monitor database performance.
• Extract, manipulate and analyse data using SQL, Excel, Power Query and Access.
• Create reports and interactive dashboards with Power BI.
• Prepare analytical reports for management review.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Intelligence or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a data analyst or reporting role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
