IT Installer

About the role

Our client, a leading provider of IT and network infrastructure solutions in Bloemfontein, is seeking a skilled IT Installer to join the team. The role involves delivering high‑quality cabling and equipment installations for a variety of commercial sites, ensuring reliable connectivity and compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, terminate and test CAT6 and fibre optic cabling.
• Mount and connect CCTV cameras, Wi‑Fi access points, switches and network cabinets.
• Troubleshoot and repair cabling and device faults on‑site.
• Route, label and secure cables according to project specifications.
• Maintain accurate equipment records and monitor stock levels.
• Provide daily IT operational support and assist with additional installations as required.

Required profile

• National Senior Certificate (NQF 4) or equivalent.
• Minimum three years’ experience in an IT environment.
• At least two years’ experience with IT hardware, network infrastructure, CCTV and fibre installations.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal transport.
