Inventory Planner

About the role

The Inventory Planner will be responsible for ensuring optimal material availability, maintaining appropriate inventory levels, and aligning production schedules with service‑level targets. This role supports operational efficiency by bridging demand insights with manufacturing execution.

Key responsibilities

• Own MRP processes for assigned product groups and drive the full planning cycle.
• Perform data analysis and validation against market realities and historical performance.
• Conduct quality checks before closing work orders.
• Maintain and adjust production schedules, BOMs, routings, and master‑data parameters.
• Liaise with customer service on ETA feedback and analyse back‑orders.
• Collaborate with product managers on assembly specifications and communicate supply constraints.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Planning.
• 3+ years of SAP experience.
• 5+ years in inventory management or planning within manufacturing or supply‑chain environments.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
