Inventory Administrator (Remote – South Africa)

About the role

You will keep stock records accurate for a UK‑based business, booking goods in and out, investigating variances and ensuring system numbers match the physical shelf. When discrepancies arise, you will identify the root cause rather than simply adjusting figures. The role works UK business hours from home as part of a South African team.

Key responsibilities

• Record goods received and dispatched against purchase and sales orders.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies with the warehouse team.
• Maintain product records, codes and units of measure.
• Prepare stock reports and support cycle counts.
• Flag low stock and slow‑moving lines to the buying team.
• Keep supplier delivery documentation filed and traceable.

Required profile

• Experience with stock, inventory or order administration.
• Methodical approach to reconciling numbers that do not agree.
• Reliable, consistent data entry under volume.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including lookups and filters.
• Familiarity with an ERP or stock system such as Unleashed, Cin7 or Sage.
