Intermediate Security Analyst

About the role

BET Software is seeking an Intermediate Security Analyst to strengthen our security posture across all product lines. You will work closely with development and operations teams to implement industry‑leading controls and protect sensitive data.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and coordinate the NIST Security Controls Framework for BET Software.
• Monitor and audit logs across all environments, performing role and permission audits.
• Collect and report metrics such as uptime, outages, and cyber‑attack incidents.
• Conduct internal privacy impact assessments and oversee handling of PII, PHI, and PCI data.
• Deliver security training and awareness sessions to staff and contractors.
• Participate actively in the Incident Response Team and support due‑diligence and contract reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience with server operating systems, networking, and security.
• Hands‑on experience with OWASP guidelines and security best practices.
• Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) and with SIEM platforms.
• Relevant certifications such as Network+, Security+, or CEH are preferred.
