Infrastructure Administrator

About the role

The Global Enterprise Organization is looking for a full‑time Infrastructure Administrator to join its South Africa team. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operation, maintenance and improvement of the company’s Windows and Linux servers, networking, storage and virtual environments.

Key responsibilities

• Support Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, Office 365 and VMware virtual infrastructure.
• Manage tickets from creation to resolution, ensuring service level agreements are met.
• Collaborate with other infrastructure teams to improve SLA performance and knowledge sharing.
• Implement change requests, including standard, common and emergency changes.
• Create and manage virtual machines, user accounts, groups and access controls.
• Monitor and remediate security vulnerabilities and other findings.
• Maintain data‑center hardware, enterprise storage systems and networking components.

Required profile

• BSc/BE in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of IT administration experience, including Linux and Kubernetes.
• Proven problem‑solving skills in complex infrastructure environments.
• Experience with ticketing tools; ManageEngine ServiceDesk is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities, able to work under pressure.
