About the role

The Hotel Cleanliness Expert (Houseman) ensures guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Working closely with the housekeeping team, you will respond promptly to guest requests and support a safe, welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest and department requests in a timely manner.
• Prepare and transport housekeeping carts with supplies to assigned areas.
• Enter guest rooms following access procedures, verify vacancy, and replace amenities, linens, and towels.
• Make beds, fold towels, clean bathrooms, and remove trash and used linens.
• Inspect room appliances for presence and proper functioning.
• Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls, furniture, and fixtures.
• Vacuum carpets and perform floor‑care duties in rooms and hallways.
• Follow all company safety, security, and hazardous‑material handling policies.
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and handle objects up to 25 lb unaided.
• Capability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for extended periods during a shift.
• Clear, professional communication skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a commitment to quality standards.
• Willingness to complete safety training and adhere to all safety procedures.
