Host – Guest Services Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Host to be the primary point of contact for guests at One&Only Cape Town. The Host delivers personalized service, anticipates guest needs and ensures seamless experiences throughout the stay.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate reservations, special events, dining, spa appointments and activity bookings.
• Provide room orientation, housekeeping preferences, laundry, luggage assistance and concierge services.
• Maintain accurate guest preference records using ALICE, SAGA and OPERA systems.
• Communicate guest requests promptly and ensure they are fulfilled in line with brand standards.
• Support team planning, capacity management and inter‑departmental communication.

Required profile

• Excellent service attitude with strong sense of urgency and professionalism.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple guest requests simultaneously.
• Honesty, transparency and integrity in all interactions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management and guest service software (ALICE, SAGA, OPERA).
