Head of Marketing – Short‑Term Insurance Portfolio

About the role

The Head of Marketing will lead the marketing and brand strategy for a short‑term insurance product portfolio, driving sustainable growth, customer acquisition and brand relevance. Reporting to senior leadership, the role balances short‑term sales delivery with long‑term brand equity.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall marketing, brand and digital strategy, ensuring alignment with sales, product and finance functions.
• Own marketing budgets, agency relationships and campaign performance, delivering measurable ROI across the full customer funnel.
• Lead a high‑performance marketing team, fostering a culture of ownership, commercial focus and continuous improvement.
• Analyse funnel and channel performance, implement corrective actions, and provide executive‑level reporting to MANCO and EXCO.

Required profile

• Proven senior marketing leadership experience within the insurance or financial services sector.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of improving lead generation, conversion rates and cost‑per‑acquisition.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate strategic objectives into actionable plans.
• Experience managing large budgets, agency partners and cross‑functional initiatives.
