About the role
The Grain Procurer will increase OVK’s market share by acquiring grain from existing and future producers, even beyond the company’s geographic footprint. The role involves building strong relationships with producers and ensuring reliable service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Service allocated producers and maintain ongoing relationships.
- Manage administrative tasks and achieve set targets.
- Plan and coordinate logistics for client deliveries.
- Drive initiatives that increase the company’s market share.
Required profile
- B-degree in Marketing (advantageous).
- Minimum 2 years experience in grain marketing.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Registered SAFEX Trader with SAIFM (advantageous).
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong customer‑service orientation.
- Excellent communication in English and Afrikaans.
- Solid numerical and analytical abilities.
- Effective sales and marketing capabilities.
