Golang Backend Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Golang Backend Developer to design, build, and optimise scalable APIs in a fully remote setting. You will work closely with our research team to evaluate AI‑powered coding models and ensure robust backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise REST and GraphQL endpoints for high‑performance APIs.
• Implement data validation, error handling and security best practices across backend services.
• Plan and execute database migrations, performance optimisations and schema changes.
• Test AI‑driven coding models (e.g., Cursor), providing detailed incident reports, bug traces and screenshots.
• Participate in intensive testing cycles to assess AI impact on real‑world coding workflows.
• Collaborate with the research team to discuss findings and propose improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a backend developer with strong expertise in Go (Golang).
• Proficiency in building and maintaining RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Advanced knowledge of backend data validation, error handling and API security.
• Hands‑on experience with database migrations, performance tuning and schema design.
• Extensive use of AI coding tools, with familiarity with Cursor being highly desirable.
