About the role
Stark Ayres, a leading African supplier of premium vegetable, flower and lawn seed varieties, is looking for a General Worker to join its Kempton Park facility. The role involves picking seed products, preparing orders and supporting stock management to ensure timely delivery to customers.
Key responsibilities
- Picks products and assembles orders according to customer specifications, transferring them to the holding area for checking.
- Ensures correct seed reference numbers are selected and reports any discrepancies to the Stock Controller.
- Maintains product quality by keeping items clean, properly packaged and labelled.
- Follows FIFO stock rotation procedures as instructed.
- Assists with bi‑annual and ad‑hoc stock counts and supports colleagues when tasks are completed.
- Keeps work areas neat, tidy and organized, and adheres to security measures to protect products and assets.
Required profile
- Grade 12 (essential).
- At least 1 year of general worker experience preferred.
- High accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to count and follow written instructions.
