About the role

The General Manager leads Radisson Blu Hotel Durban, Umhlanga, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while driving revenue and commercial success. This senior position balances strategic planning with day‑to‑day operational oversight in a vibrant, inclusive hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the hotel masterplan with a focus on guest satisfaction, revenue generation, and brand reputation.
• Collaborate with Heads of Department to identify and maximise business opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, due‑diligence requirements, and internal policies.
• Manage the hotel budget, monitor financial performance, and report to the Regional Director.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team to deliver memorable moments for guests.
