Functional Analyst III – E‑commerce Solutions

About the role

Ensure efficient, customer‑centric e‑commerce solutions and digital processes are in place to drive online business growth and seamless shopping experiences. The Lead Functional Analyst works closely with product owners, UX/UI designers and engineers to co‑create scalable online solutions and configure platforms to meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform functional and technical analysis of complex e‑commerce business requirements.
• Translate requirements into detailed functional specifications and guide development teams.
• Lead configuration and development initiatives, prioritising and planning projects with other team leads.
• Coordinate testing, training, implementation and post‑go‑live support, ensuring quality standards.
• Conduct gap analyses, risk assessments and provide status reporting to management.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Functional Analyst or similar role.
• Proven experience with SAP Commerce or equivalent e‑commerce platforms.
• Strong background in functional analysis, configuration and user testing.
• Experience in retail or financial services environments and vendor management.

Required skills

• SAP Commerce (or comparable e‑commerce platform)
• MS SQL fundamentals and Transact‑SQL querying
• JIRA for defect tracking
• Agile methodologies and sprint‑based delivery
• Cloud solution concepts (desirable)
