About the role

Join Meijer’s pharmacy team as a full‑time Pharmacy Technician. You will work in a patient‑focused environment, providing friendly service and supporting the safe dispensing of medication.

Key responsibilities

• Retrieve medication from inventory and prepare prescriptions.
• Enter customer and prescription data into the pharmacy dispensing system.
• Create prescription labels and process insurance claims.
• Complete paperwork for prescription fills and drug orders.
• Order and stock prescription medications for the department.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Prioritize workload and maintain effective communication.
• Keep the pharmacy clean, organized, and professional.
• Protect patient confidentiality at all times.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED (or state‑required equivalent).
• Retail or community pharmacy experience.
• Excellent customer‑service attitude.
• Positive attitude, reliable attendance, and professional appearance.
• Neat, legible penmanship and strong organizational skills.
• Basic math proficiency.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a pharmacy dispensing system.
• Typing skills.
• Basic arithmetic.
