About the role

We are looking for an experienced Front‑End Developer to join our team in Menlyn, South Africa. The role focuses on building and maintaining modern web applications using Angular and TypeScript, while supporting legacy systems and ensuring high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

Analyse requirements and design front‑end solutions.
Develop, test and maintain Angular applications.
Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices.
Resolve defects and support deployment pipelines.
Provide third‑level production support and hyper‑care after releases.
Prepare technical documentation in line with ISO standards.
Collaborate with product owners, IT leaders and agile teams.
Coach colleagues and deliver training when needed.

Required profile

Degree in IT or equivalent experience.
10+ years of software development experience.
Strong understanding of Git and version‑control best practices.
Ability to work under SLA agreements and travel internationally if required.

Required skills

Angular v18+.
JavaScript / TypeScript.
Npm, Ngrx, Jest, Rxjs, Eslint, Prettier.
Operational support on legacy systems.
Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Kafka, CI/CD pipelines, JIRA and Confluence is advantageous.
