Founding Developer Relations Lead

About the role

This is a rare opportunity to create and lead a Developer Relations function from the ground up within a fast‑growing, crypto‑native infrastructure organization. You will shape how developers and AI agents discover, understand, and integrate with next‑generation financial APIs, SDKs, CLIs, wallets and emerging AI‑agent interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute an end‑to‑end developer adoption strategy across APIs, SDKs, CLIs, wallets and AI‑agent interfaces, driving measurable growth in usage and integrations.
• Build and scale activation assets such as onboarding flows, quickstarts, reference implementations and integration tooling.
• Track adoption metrics including API calls, SDK installs, production deployments, GitHub engagement and agent‑based interactions.
• Partner with Engineering and Product to ensure every release is developer‑ready, well‑documented and optimized for integration.
• Create technical content – documentation, demos, launch narratives and storytelling that simplify complex infrastructure.
• Deliver presentations, keynotes and live demos at conferences and developer events.
• Identify developer friction points, influence product direction and advocate for ecosystem needs.
• Help define AI‑agent interactions with financial infrastructure, including retrieval systems and agent‑native workflows.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and scaling developer adoption at a leading developer platform, cloud, fintech or AI infrastructure company.
• Strong technical fluency to read APIs, review integrations and collaborate as a peer with engineering teams.
• Demonstrated success delivering measurable adoption outcomes beyond awareness, such as usage, retention and integration metrics.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, with a track record of creating technical content and launch materials.
• Builder mindset with a bias toward shipping, experimentation and rapid iteration in fast‑paced environments.
