Forklift Driver – Warehouse Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Forklift Driver to safely operate a forklift, move, load, unload and store materials within our warehouse, ensuring smooth production flow and product quality. The role supports the packing of finished products and the supply of packing material to keep the line running without stoppages.

Key responsibilities

• Offload full pallets from the production line and transport them to storage areas.
• Supply boards to the layer board machine and load pallets onto the pallet magazine.
• Pack finished products in the warehouse, ensuring no damage during handling.
• Perform battery checks (water levels, connections) and charge forklifts at the end of each shift.
• Conduct physical inspections of the forklift and report any defects.
• Keep the forklift and charging area clean and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Verify raw‑material pallets and boards are in good condition before moving them.
• Follow health, safety, quality and food‑safety standards (FSSC 22000).

Required profile

• Grade 12 (or equivalent).
• Valid forklift licence.
• Minimum 6 months of forklift operating experience.
