Fleet & Safety Supervisor

About the role

The role is responsible for overseeing the site’s safety and fleet management services, ensuring compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Road Transport Act and AB InBev safety policies. You will lead inspections, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain sustainable fleet standards and a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the OHS Act and Road Traffic Act.
• Conduct daily inspections of depot fleet and report availability of trucks, trailers, forklifts and MFLTs.
• Maintain accurate records including maintenance job cards, licensing history and pre‑trip inspections.
• Manage fleet asset verification, master data changes and spare‑part inventory levels.
• Oversee budget expenditure, spare‑part management and workshop safety procedures (5S, SOP reviews).
• Drive safety culture initiatives, DPO assessments and continuous improvement of KPIs.

Required profile

• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act, Road Traffic Act and related governance.
• Strong business and financial acumen with inventory control experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of SAP.
• Proven analytical ability and track record of delivering results.
• People management experience (advantageous).
