Fleet Controller

About the role

The Fleet Controller is responsible for coordinating and supervising the daily operations of a terminal or depot that dispatches products by road transport. This role ensures that deliveries are made efficiently and on time, while maintaining high standards of operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate, plan and coordinate operational activities within the assigned division.
• Motivate and supervise a team of employees to meet operational goals.
• Monitor and optimise the dispatch of goods by road transport.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to all customers.
• Maintain operational efficiency and address any issues that arise during the dispatch process.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics, transport or depot operations.
• Strong organisational and coordination abilities.
• Leadership skills to manage and motivate a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to meeting delivery schedules.
