Financial Controller (Remote, Full-Time)

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller to own accounting, reporting and financial operations for our growing U.S.-based company. This remote, full‑time position works closely with leadership to provide financial clarity, discipline and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable accounting systems, internal controls and ensure US GAAP compliance.
• Own the general ledger, chart of accounts and overall data integrity.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and deliver actionable insights.
• Build and manage budgets, forecasts and financial models; conduct ad‑hoc analysis of key drivers such as CAC, labor costs and margins.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, billing, collections and payroll; manage the monthly close process.
• Drive cash‑flow forecasting, invoicing and collection to maintain a strong cash position.
• Partner with leadership on annual planning, ongoing forecasting and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with department heads to align financial strategy with operational goals and support hiring, pricing and growth decisions.
• Evaluate, implement and optimise financial tools, lead process improvements and build reporting dashboards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior accounting or finance leadership role, preferably within a fast‑growing organization.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.
