Financial Controller – PMO (FTTH & Special Projects)

About the role

The Project Management Accountant bridges finance and project teams, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, cost control and financial reporting for FTTH and special projects. This role ensures financial integrity, supports strategic decision‑making and contributes to successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project budgets and forecasts in collaboration with project managers and the finance manager.
• Monitor project costs, identify variances and provide timely financial analysis.
• Prepare monthly project financial reports, including profit and loss statements and cash‑flow projections.
• Track and manage project billing, revenue recognition and cost allocations.
• Support project audits, ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
• Liaise with procurement and finance teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and stock availability.

Required profile

• Strong accountability and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Analytical mindset with solid decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Customer‑service orientation and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Sage accounting software (beneficial).
• Experience with financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting for projects.
• Understanding of project lifecycle and cost management principles.
