Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary - Emergency Centre

About the role

The Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary will deliver safe, basic nursing care in the Emergency Centre, working within the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and a therapeutic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver basic nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient safety.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience by assisting in the creation of a therapeutic environment.
• Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
• Participate in creating a learning environment that builds staff competence.
• Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charted.

Required profile

• Higher certificate in nursing (or equivalent).
• No prior experience required (essential minimum experience: none).
• Desired: 1 year post‑qualification experience.

Required skills

• Infection prevention and control.
• Basic Life Support.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
• Knowledge of regulations regarding the Scope of Practice for Nurses and Midwives.
• Relevant nursing legislation.
