Enrolled Nurse – Primary Healthcare (Western Cape)

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our primary healthcare clinic in the Western Cape. The role involves delivering holistic nursing care to residents, supporting them to maintain optimal health and independence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide preventative, promotive and curative nursing services.
• Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs and evaluate care needs.
• Perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, wound care and medication administration.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and promote independence.
• Collaborate with doctors, allied health professionals and the multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols and healthcare regulations.
• Support clinic administration, stock control and equipment management.

Required profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Enrolled Nursing.
• Valid SANC registration (non‑negotiable).
• 3–5 years of clinical experience, preferably in a primary healthcare or clinic setting.
• Strong clinical competence in vital signs monitoring and blood collection.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
