About the role

Mediclinic Limpopo is seeking Enrolled Nurses to provide safe, quality nursing care in a medical unit. The role involves working on‑site in Polokwane, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and a positive experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with the multi‑disciplinary team.
• Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient safety.
• Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment.
• Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
• Participate in creating a learning environment that builds staff competence.
• Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged.

Required profile

• Enrolled Nurse Certificate (essential).
• CPD courses in specific speciality areas for specialised wards (desired).
• No prior experience required; 1 year post‑qualification experience preferred for specialised units.

Required skills

• Basic life support trained.
• Infection prevention and control.
• Pharmacology knowledge.
• Scientific nursing principles and processes.
• Patient assessment skills.
• Nursing processes and procedures.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
• Knowledge of relevant nursing legislation.
• Nursing care plan development.
• Risk identification.
