About the Position

Join Stethoscope SA as an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary and play a vital role in our healthcare team. You will provide high-quality direct and indirect nursing care to patients, ensuring their well-being and safety within a professional medical environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic nursing care to individual patients or groups under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Execute nursing tasks in strict accordance with South African Nursing Council (SANC) and Department of Health (DOH) standards.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
• Assist anesthesiologists during anesthesia induction and manage patient positioning and transfers to mitigate risks.
• Handle medical equipment and medications safely while contributing to hospital cost-control measures.
• Manage clinical documentation, monitor stock levels, and ensure compliance with occupational safety standards.
• Foster positive professional relationships with patients, medical staff, and management.

• Qualified Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary with valid professional registration.
• Strong commitment to professional ethics and accountability for all clinical actions.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary medical team.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support)
