eLearning Content Developer & Administrator Support Internship

About the role

This internship at OUTsurance provides hands‑on experience in eLearning content creation and Learning Management System (LMS) administration. You will support eLearning administrators, develop online learning materials, and help improve processes within a leading South African financial services company.

Key responsibilities

• Support eLearning administrators by monitoring LMS performance, identifying and resolving technical issues.
• Design and produce online learning content, including mailers and infographics, using appropriate software.
• Provide first‑line technical support via calls and emails, log and manage cases, and generate usage reports.
• Conduct quality assurance testing of content and maintain LMS documentation.
• Research and propose process improvements to reduce manual tasks and enhance mobile learning adoption.
• Upskill trainers by updating course materials, creating classes, monitoring attendance, and supporting virtual classroom sessions.
• Assist with survey creation, manual result uploads, and per‑question trend analysis.

Required profile

• South African citizen, aged 18‑35, unemployed for the last two months, and not previously participated in an INSETA internship.
• Grade 12 qualification; background in multimedia, graphic design or related field is advantageous.
• Strong computer literacy, excellent communication, high attention to detail, and a proactive administrative orientation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with creative, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
