Driver (Code 8) – Transport Services

About the role

TB HIV Care (THC) is seeking a reliable Driver (Code 8) to support its health‑care programmes across South Africa. You will ensure safe and timely transportation of staff, equipment and clients to various service locations.

Key responsibilities

• Transport teams, medical equipment and supplies to designated sites.
• Assist with the mobilisation of clients to programme locations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform basic checks and report any issues.
• Keep accurate travel logs, fuel records and vehicle documentation.
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and organisational policies.

Required profile

• Valid Code 8 driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with local routes and ability to navigate efficiently.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings or weekends as needed.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
