Distribution Supervisor

About the role

The Distribution Supervisor will drive consistent service levels by ensuring superior execution of the delivery process, managing productivity, quality, capacity and refusals, and supporting cross‑functional performance across the SAB Waltloo Depot.

Key responsibilities

• Manage delivery productivity, coach trade partners on MBFU, refusals and OODD, and optimise delivery modes for cost efficiency.
• Ensure quality standards are embedded in route delivery, track customer complaints, and implement action plans to improve results.
• Oversee capacity occupation and refusal management, establishing daily SLA with 2DCP and maintaining return policies.
• Support service social systems by establishing routines with CXC, tracking performance and fostering cross‑functional learning.

Required profile

• Relevant 3‑year tertiary degree/diploma, preferably in Supply Chain or Logistics.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a customer service role within an FMCG supply chain or logistics environment.
• Valid Code 08 Driver’s License.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with SAP (preferred).
