Director of Strategic Alliances, Business Partners & FinTech

About the role

Sage is looking for a Regional Director to lead the Strategic Alliances, Business Partners and FinTech ecosystem across Africa and the Middle East. Based in Midrand, Johannesburg, you will own the regional partner strategy, drive ecosystem performance and ensure alignment with both regional and global priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive partner and alliance strategy for the AME region.
• Grow and optimise the Business Partner, Alliance and FinTech ecosystems to achieve revenue and market‑share targets.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to align partner initiatives with Sage’s overall business objectives.
• Monitor ecosystem performance, analyse metrics and implement continuous improvement plans.
• Represent Sage in high‑level partner negotiations and strategic fintech collaborations.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in strategic alliances, partner management or fintech ecosystems.
• Deep understanding of the Africa and Middle East market dynamics.
• Strong track record of driving growth and delivering measurable business impact.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
