About the role

2 Hour Learning is seeking a visionary Director of Learning Strategy to lead the academic side of its AI‑driven, two‑hour‑per‑day learning system. This remote senior role will translate learning science into concrete curriculum, motivation, and technology directives while serving as the public face of the movement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop academic frameworks that turn learning‑science research into actionable curriculum design, motivation architecture, and application interfaces.
• Conduct execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure school teams stay aligned, accountable, and outcome‑focused.
• Integrate data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and direct observation into ecosystem assessments that pinpoint high‑impact obstacles and recommend targeted solutions.
• Maintain strategic coherence through structured planning, continuous feedback mechanisms, and milestone oversight.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning in high‑profile settings such as keynote presentations and policy discussions with Ministries of Education.
• Expand and refine the validated academic model across multiple school sites, reinforcing leadership benchmarks and establishing authority for the evidence‑based movement.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Education, or a closely related field.
• Proven track record of designing and executing large‑scale learning initiatives that deliver measurable student outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional academic teams and hold them accountable for results.
• Experience communicating complex scientific concepts to diverse, global audiences.
