Digital Marketing Officer

About the role

SmartStart is looking for a Digital Marketing Officer to execute its digital strategy across web, social and email channels, manage community engagement, and use data‑driven insights to grow the brand while safeguarding its online reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, launch and optimise national digital campaigns on owned and paid channels such as the website, CRM, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Manage social media platforms and digital communities, responding to comments and escalating issues according to brand guidelines.
• Maintain website content, monitor analytics, and ensure accurate, fresh information in collaboration with IT and communications teams.
• Build and send newsletters, SMS and WhatsApp messages, and manage contact lists and segmentation in Zoho CRM.
• Track KPIs, produce dashboards, conduct A/B testing and manage the digital promotion budget.
• Monitor online sentiment, support brand‑guideline rollout and flag reputational risks.

Required profile

• Qualification in graphic and digital design with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in design, brand application and stakeholder engagement, preferably within digital or UX contexts.
• Proactive, collaborative, detail‑oriented and able to work independently while escalating issues appropriately.
